Project Description:

The educational and social project "What's up" is inspired by Tomaso Bingo's work "I Write You Only on Sunday". The project involves participants filling out a form on the website for 52 weeks. The form consists of two parts:

Question about a Friend: The first field of the form is a place for a question about how our friend is doing. The participant chooses one person they are curious about. It is important to know this person well enough to know what is happening with them and to be able to ask the right question. Questions must not be repeated; each week brings new challenges. It should be remembered that these letters will never reach the friend - it is a time for self-reflection.

Week Summary: The second field of the form is a place for a one-sentence summary of the participant's week. The participant describes what happened to them, what they felt, and why they felt that way.

The aim of the initiative is to express the deepest thoughts and feelings in an intimate and personal way. You can join the project at any time because it is a project that allows you to get to know yourself and deeply understand your friend. It is a moment for reflection, a deeper insight into the source of oneself.

Project Goal:

The project aims to release in participants the need to sincerely share their feelings and build deeper relationships through regular, albeit brief, exchanges of thoughts. It is an exercise in introspection and empathy, where on the one hand we focus on ourselves, and on the other hand we show interest in the lives of others. It encourages taking a moment once a week to think about our lives and relationships with others. It prompts reflection on whether we can communicate, whether we are curious about the other person, and whether we understand our emotions and ourselves. It allows for a better understanding of why we act in certain ways and what is really happening in our lives.

Participation:

The project is open to any adult*, regardless of age, place of residence, or language. We invite everyone to participate in workshops on empathy and curiosity to better understand ourselves and others, emphasizing the importance of communication and getting to know each other. Each participant joins the project voluntarily and accepts its rules.

Organizer:

The project is organized by the Jesteś Wszystko Contemporary Artist Cooperative Foundation, which is an open space for self-expression, a place where we improve in being ourselves. We invite everyone regardless of age, regardless of whether they feel like artists or not, all those who want to express themselves artistically in some way through any form of art. We invite everyone to explore themselves.

minors can only participate in the project with the consent of parents or legal guardians.
