About the project

Word Movement is an innovative artistic activity that is part of the Artistic Warm-up project, which combines performative reading with body movement and reactions. It is a series of meetings during which participants read texts on a selected topic, processing their emotions and intentions on a given day, and their partners react to what they hear using motor or performative activities.

Project assumptions
Performative reading: People participating in the project will read texts in a performative way, expressing their feelings and emotions. They can work in pairs, threes or teams, exchanging roles.

Reaction to movement: Reading partners will react to the text with movement, enriching the message with their own feelings and interpretations.

Various locations:

Public space: Organizing happenings in public places such as streets, parks and squares.

Closed space: Activities in art galleries, combined with vernissages, live music and discussion panels.

Project goals

Strengthening authenticity: Through joint performative and artistic activities, we want to strengthen each participant's sense of self-worth and authenticity.

Reflection on presence: We encourage you to reflect on your presence here and now, on everyday emotions and intentions.

Creating positive energy: We want participants to wake up every day with a smile and a positive attitude, ready to express themselves.

Cooperation and openness

As part of the Ruch Słowa project, we cooperate with various organizations and creators. We are open to all people with an artistic soul who want to try their hand at performative readings and movement activities. Our space is open to everyone who wants to express their thoughts, emotions and artistic visions.

Organizer: The event is organized by the Jest Głos Contemporary Artists' Cooperative Foundation, known for promoting innovative forms of art and social involvement.
